listen to my words
So I figure somewhere out there someone actually might want to hear what I have to say. Even if they don't, I'm going to say it anyway. Just to get my head clear, or think through something knotty, or screw around. Whatever. Cooking, cocktails, bacon, pork, whiskey, etc...it'll be covered. Also reading the vast majority of internet comments makes me feel a little dumber. Is it really necessary to parse every character of a post or other comment, just to draw attention to one's superiority? Isn't it possible to assume that if someone makes a mistake; of either spelling, grammar, or content, that they didn't do so just to get under your skin? Probably not, but it's something to hope for. Also, I'm over txtspk and h4x0rzzz and 1337sp34k. It's silly, it's distracting, it was funny for about ten minutes, now it's just tiresome. That doesn't mean I'm going to post vituperative comments to every blog or comment that utilizes such language...just that I'll ignore it and try to be a rock of grammatical sensibility. Cheers, y'all, and we'll chat again soon.
